2019-20 (Junior): Appeared in all 30 games, starting 29 … averaged 10.7 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.5 blocks, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals while shooting .410 (128-of-312) from the field … named South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Defensive Player of the Year and All-SAC Second-Team … ranked No. 3 in NCAA Division II in blocks per game as well as total blocks (104) … became only third player in league history to reach triple digits in blocks … recorded 19 double-figure scoring games, nine of which were double-doubles … added triple double of 10 points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocks vs. Catawba (2/5) … had a block in 27 games, including four or more 14 times … produced 12 double-figure rebounding efforts, half of which were of 15 boards or more … delivered 20 points, 19 rebounds, four blocks, four assists and four steals in 59-56 win over No. 17 Anderson (2/12) … notched 10 points, 18 rebounds and eight blocks in 43 minutes vs. Newberry (2/19) and 19 points, 16 boards, two blocks, three steals and a pair of assists vs. UVA-Wise (1/11) … added 16 points, 16 caroms and four blocks against the latter on February 22 … recorded 18 points, 16 rebounds and six blocks vs. Johnson C. Smith (11/13) and 16 points, 17 boards, five blocks and three assists vs. UNC Pembroke (11/20).
2018-19 (Sophomore): Saw action in all 31 games, all off the bench … posted averages of 7.1 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.0 blocks … delivered 95 blocks, at the time the fourth highest total in league single season history, and ranked 10th in the nation in that category and 12th in blocks per game (3.0) … recorded eight games of double-figure scoring, six of double-digit rebounding and four double-doubles … had at least one block in 29 games with 23 resulting in multiple rejections … of those, 11 saw her register four or more … just missed a triple-double with 11 points 14 rebounds and nine blocks vs. Tusculum (3/2) … had 12 points and 15 caroms vs. Carson-Newman (12/1).
2017-18 (Freshman): Played in 11 games off the bench as a true freshman for 26-6 club … averaged 2.5 points and 1.5 rebounds … produced nine points, four rebounds and a pair of steals vs. Mars Hill (1/20) … had six points, four caroms and two steals in first meeting with MHU (12/2).
Legacy Charter School: Competed in basketball and track & field for LCS … averaged 10.2 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals while earning team Most Valuable Player honors … helped lead basketball program to USA Prep National Semifinals … named Legacy Charter School Female Athlete of the Year.
Eastside High School: Three-year member of track & field and basketball programs … competed in the latter as an eighth grader and medaled in the high jump at the State Championships during her career … competed at the AAU level with the Carolina Lady Shock.
Personal: Born on August 25, 1999, Teliyah is the daughter of Samantha and Keith Brown and Gary Jeter … family includes five siblings, Tamia (21), Tagarian (27) and Gary Jeter (29) and Tyler Brown (16) and Tiara Thomas (30) … member of the nation’s largest leadership honor society ( National Society of Leadership and Success) and international sociology honor society (Phi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Delta) … graduated from Wingate with a degree in Sociology in 2021 and currently majoring in Master’s of Social Work.
