A member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) since transitioning to NCAA Division I in 1999, Alabama A&M has delivered a number of impressive performances in their 25 seasons in the league.
These have included back-to-back Defensive Player of the Year honors by Mickell Gladness, Freshman of the Year Chad Moodie and Player of the Year selection Obie Trotter.
