Alabama A&M Athletics

A member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) since transitioning to NCAA Division I in 1999, Alabama A&M has delivered a number of impressive performances in their 23 seasons in the league.

These have included a pair of Player of the Year honorees among 19 All-SWAC selections, with Katrich Williams (2009-10) and Whiquitta Tobar (2011-12) earning those honors. Additionally, Williams earned Defensive Player of the Year in that same 2009-10 campaign.

Of the 19 All-SWAC honors, eight have come on the First-Team with 10 on the Second-Team and one on the Third-Team. The Bulldogs claimed a program record three straight years with multiple honorees from 2019-20 through 2021-22, a feat highlighted by Dariauna Lewis earning a team best three All-SWAC honors in that same time. 

Two is also the most individuals they placed on a team in one season, with the 2008-09 and 2009-10 joining that three-year run.
