Alabama A&M Athletics

Since its inception in 2007, Alabama A&M has earned a total of 28 BOXTOROW Postseason All-American honors, those coming from 22 different individuals. It is a number that also includes 15 First-Team recognitions and two-time National Player of the Year Aqeel Glass in Spring 2021 and Fall 2021.
 
Those two seasons within the same calendar year would see the Bulldogs deliver 10 All-American selections, including seven on the First-Team. That overall total was two more than the previous decade combined and included four of the six multi-time honorees in program history.
 
That group is led by Glass and Abdul-Fatai Ibrahim with a pair First-Team selections in those years, making them the only individuals to accomplish that in team history. Gary Quarles also earned a pair of Honorable Mention recognitions while Marcus Cushnie was First-Team in Spring 2021 and Honorable Mention in 2019.
 
The only other multiple season honorees came in 2008 and 2009 with Jeremy Maddox collecting Honorable Mention and First-Team, respectively, and Thomas Harris checking in on Honorable Mention both years.
 
Eight of the 10 seasons that A&M has earned a selection they have had at least two individuals on the teams.
 
ABOUT THE BOXTOROW ALL-AMERICAN TEAMS
Established in 2007 by media personality Donal Ware, BOXTOROW’s Postseason and Preseason All-American Teams, along with their National Player of the Week, are designed to highlight the accomplishments of players from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).
