Pat Richardson enters his third season as the Special Assistant to Head Coach and his fourth season on staff after serving as the team's Graduate Assistant for two years.

Prior to role on staff, Richardson spent his undergrad years as the bulldog's head basketball manager under leadership of Coach Vann Pettaway & Coach Willie Hayes. Richardson served as a hardworking, manager who was considered first in and last to leave every day. In the beginning, the role started out small & as the respect was earned, Richardson began to become more involved.Â

Accepting the Graduate Assistant position under former head coach, duties and responsibilities became more & more important. Richardson began participating in daily coaching interaction with the team. This included on the court interaction as well as team scouting for upcoming opponents.Â

Richardson is a native of Montgomery, Al where he attend Jefferson Davis High School.Â
