Georgia M. Harrison has been a fixture on the Alabama A&M University campus.
Harrison, who is the Business and Finance Analyst in the Department of Athletics, served as part of the AAMU track and field team from 1993-96. She received gold medals in the 400m dash, 400m intermediate hurdles, and 400m relay team at the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Championships.Â
Leading the pack from the SIAC, she received honors four (4) times as USA Track and Field All-American during her career.Â
Harrison, who is an Athletics Class of 2014 Hall of Fame selection, received three degrees from AAMU:Â Â Bachelor of Science degree in Office Systems Management, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Education.Â
She is a native of Kingston, Jamaica, and currently resides in Huntsville, Ala,, and is the mother to JuVaughn and Ky-Mani.
