Before coming to Huntsville in March of 2023, Conrad spent two years as an academic coordinator in the athletic department at Southern Illinois-Carbondale (2021-2023), where she conducted weekly academic meetings with at-risk student-athletes, freshmen and transfers to track their academic progress. She also hired, trained and scheduled tutors.

While at SIU-Carbondale, Conrad developed the Summer Bridge programming and presentations for incoming freshman football players. In addition, she provided consistent and frequent communication, verbally and written, with academic staff and coaches regarding the progress of assigned student-athletes.

Before Southern Illinois-Carbondale, Conrad served as an interim assistant director for residential life for one year at the University of Missouri.

While at Missouri, Conrad directly supervised five professional staff members and one graduate student in their responsibilities and personal career development, and also provided on-call and crisis response to professional staff on critical issues.

Conrad worked as a residence hall coordinator from July 2018 through August 2021 where she directly supervised, trained and evaluated 14 resident advisors and one lead resident advisor.

Prior to Missouri, Conrad spent one year at the O’Fallon District 9, Amelia Carriel Jr. High School as an Interventionist Aide, working collaboratively with a team of teachers to ensure adherence to students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and Section 504 plans.

Conrad received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Community Health and Education, with a minor in Psychology, from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville in 2014 and earned her Master’s Degree in Kinesiology – Exercise and Sports Psychology from SIU-Edwardsville in 2016.
