James Moore has been a member of the Huntsville United States Bowling Congress (HUSBC) since 2004 and has served on the Board since 2014 as the HUSBC Associate Youth Director.
Since 2011, he has been volunteering as a registered youth coach and is a United States Bowling Congress Certified Bronze Level Coach.Â
He has attended numerous bowling camps and clinics including the Kegel Training Center in Lake Wales, Fla., under the direction of PBA player and Webber University Men’s Coach Del Warren. He’s trained one-on-one with the International Art of Bowling (IAB) world’s No. 1 bowler Jason Belmonte and Professional Bowlers Association stars Pete Webber, Rhino Page, Tommy Jones and mental game training with Sports Psychologist Dr. Dean Hinitz.Â
At the International Training and Research Center (ITRC) in Dallas Texas, he received training under PWBA Hall of Famer Kim Terrell-Kearney. His personal bowling accomplishments include seven 300 games and nine 299 games.
He is a graduate of Alabama A&M University with a BS and a master's in Urban Planning. Â
During his undergraduate and graduate years, he was a radio personality WZHT Hot 105 in Montgomery and WJAB 90.9 FM at Alabama A&M.
He is married to Yolanda Yates-Moore.
