Travis Glasgow begins his first year as the Deputy Athletics Director at Alabama A&M University.
Glasgow has more than 25 years of experience in intercollegiate athletics administration. He will provide strategic oversight of the department’s internal operations, facilities, game day management, and capital projects. A proven leader in athletic operations and event management, Glasgow brings a results-driven approach that emphasizes efficiency, collaboration, and growth across all facets of Bulldog Athletics.
Before joining Alabama A&M, Glasgow served as Deputy Athletic Director and Chief Operating Officer at Florida A&M University, where he supervised multiple men’s and women’s sports programs, including basketball, baseball, golf, cross country, and track & field. He led operational units such as the business office, sport performance, and facilities, and was instrumental in implementing revenue-generating initiatives that strengthened the athletic department’s financial foundation.
Prior to his tenure at FAMU, Glasgow spent seven years at Kennesaw State University as Senior Associate Athletic Director, overseeing facility operations, capital projects, and game day operations—including a $13 million baseball stadium renovation. He also directed championship events for the ASUN Conference and represented KSU on the Atlanta Final Four Host Committee.
Glasgow’s extensive career also includes leadership roles with Centerplate, Aramark, and major venues such as Bryant-Denny Stadium, Prudential Center, and Camden Yards, where he managed multi-million-dollar budgets and large-scale staff operations for collegiate, professional, and national championship events.
A native of South Carolina, Glasgow is a former student-athlete at Gardner-Webb University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Coppin State University. His career is defined by a commitment to operational excellence, student-athlete success, and advancing the mission of collegiate athletics through innovation and integrity.
