Box Score / Forward Brittan Thomas scored the only goal for the Bulldogs 58 minutes into the game, as A&M dropped its second straight game, 11-1, at Middle Tennessee State. The Bulldogs had just two shots on goal. A&M women's soccer is back in action on Aug. 28 at Southeast Missouri beginning at 4 p.m.
The Bulldogs dug themselves a deficit early on as the Blue Raiders held a comfortable five point advantage at the half behind Shan Jones' three goals. The second half was highlighted by Thomas' cross to the left post for a successful shot on goal to put A&M on the scoreboard. MTSU outscored the Bulldogs 6-1 in the second half, however.
With the loss, the Bulldogs drop to 0-2 on the season. A&M will look to redeem itself when it faces the Redhawks of Southeast Missourit at 4 p.m.
