NORMAL – The Alabama A&M volleyball team completed their first Southwestern Athletic Conference sweep in three games over the Alcorn State University Lady Braves 25-10, 25-10 & 25-13.
The Lady Bulldogs (8-8, 3-0 SWAC) remain undefeated in the conference. Leading the team versus the Lady Braves was Courtney Jenkins and Karensa Beckford who each finished with a game high 11 kills. Christi Rodgers paced the Maroon & White with a game high 16 assists while Rose Corneille posted 16 digs.
Alcorn was led by Shaquanda Hollis who ended the contest with four kills and four digs.
A&M have the next nine days off before their next match. The Lady Bulldogs will visit Jackson State University on Thursday, October 21st for a 7 pm contest.
