NORMAL - The Alabama A&M University volleyball team completed a season sweep of Alabama State University 25-12, 25-13, 25-20 Thursday evening at the T. M. Elmore Gymnasium.
The Maroon and White celebrated senior night as they paused to recognize three Lady Bulldogs; Courtney Jenkins, Amie Goodwin, and Rose Corneille.
Jenkins led the way with a team high of 13 kills and two blocks. As a team A&M powered past the Lady Hornets (11-17) in kills 46-28.
Fellow seniors Goodwin contributed 10 kills and Corneille had a team high of 16 digs.
The Lady Bulldogs 11-10 will play their final match of the 2010 regular season when they host Mississippi Valley State University on Monday, November 8. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
