HUNTSVILLE - The Alabama A&M volleyball team is set to play cross town rival University of Alabama at Huntsville in Spragins Hall, tonight at 7:00 p.m.
This season, the Lady Bulldogs are led by Karensa Beckford and Clairissa Moore. Beckford paces A&M in kills (368), service aces (35), while Moore is second in kills with (323) and services aces (32).
Collectively, the Maroon and White have amassed 1118 kills, 977 assists, 161 service aces, and 1285 digs.
Audrey Harris leads A&M with 374 digs as she averages 3.63 per game.
Jessica Ruple and Kaeli McCaghren will lead the UAH squad into their last match of the year. Ruple leads the Lady Chargers with 355 kills and ranks second on the team with 341 digs, while McCaghren tops the squad with 408 digs this season.
Historically, the Lady Chargers own a 14-6 advantage over the Lady Bulldogs in the all-time series, including victories in nine of the last 10 meetings. Alabama A&M claimed the most recent contest between the two schools in 2009, 3-2.
