HUNTSVILLE - The Alabama A&M volleyball team squeaked by the Chargers of the University of Alabama at Huntsville and spoiled their senior night in a five set thriller on Tuesday night.
The Bulldogs were down to the Charges two sets to none, but A&M rallied to take the third and fourth to send the match into the deciding fifth set that the Lady Bulldogs eventually won.
Leading the way for A&M was Clairissa Moore with a match high of 25 kills, five digs, and three blocks. Pacing the A&M offense was Ashley Foreman with a career high of 46 assists while Karensa Beckford secured 17 kills. Anchoring the Maroon & White defense was Audrey Harris with 16 digs, followed by Beckford and Forman each with 12.
A&M will return to the hardwood on Thursday, November 10, when they welcome in-state conference rival the Hornets of Alabama State in a 7 p.m. match-up at the T. M. Elmore Gymnasium.
