Jones Named SWAC Coach of the Year; Hart named to All-American team by College Sports Madness.com

Madness 2011 FCS Football All-American Teams

NORMAL – Head coach Anthony Jones was named the Southwestern Athletic Conference Coach of the year and Corey Hart was named to the FCS All-American second team by College Sports Madness.com.

Junior runningback Kaderius Lacey and kicker Chance Wilson were named to the All-SWAC team. The number one player in America in tackles-for-loss, Corey Hart, was named to the All-SWAC team and the football championship subdivision All-American second team by the web site.

In one season Hart is third on the team with 55 tackles, 32 solo, 30 TFL’s for 139 yards, 15 sacks, 12 quarterback hurries, 3 fumble recoveries for 33 yards and a touchdown, and two force fumbles.

“I’m real blessed,” Hart mentioned. “I thank the coaching staff for giving me an opportunity to play my final season of college football and my teammates for all their support throughout the season.”
