THE HILL | The demand for Alabama A&M Athletics tailgating has officially reached a new level.
With tailgate inventory continuing to sell at record pace, Alabama A&M Athletics is officially launching a new Tailgate Waitlist Program designed to give Bulldog fans a fair and organized opportunity to secure future tailgate locations.
The new system creates a structured pathway for fans hoping to join one of the most energetic and sought-after game day environments in HBCU athletics.
HOW THE NEW WAITLIST WORKS
Fans can officially join the Tailgate Waitlist by submitting a non-refundable $50 Priority Waitlist Deposit plus applicable fees.
That deposit secures a position on the official waitlist and will be credited toward the purchase of a tailgate location if one becomes available.
However, Athletics officials want fans to understand one important detail:
Joining the waitlist DOES NOT guarantee a tailgate location.
Tailgate opportunities will become available only through:
• Non-renewals
• Payment defaults
• Administrative adjustments
• Inventory reallocations
WHEN SPOTS OPEN, SPEED MATTERS
Tailgate locations will be offered based on:
• The exact time payment was received
• Availability
• Athletics operational discretion
If a location becomes available, fans will be contacted directly by phone and email and must respond within 24 hours.
Once accepted, full payment must be completed within three business days or the opportunity will move to the next person in line.
Athletics officials also emphasized that repeated calls, emails, or in-person visits will not increase waitlist priority.
Fans interested in joining the official Tailgate Waitlist are encouraged to act quickly, as placement is determined by completed payment timestamp.
