Maroon & White soccer falls in season opener 8-0

ATLANTA – The Alabama A&M Lady Bulldogs could not find an answer today versus South Carolina State University as they allowed two goals in the first half and six in the second to fall to 0-1 to open the 2012 season.

Starting goalkeeper Linda Aboagye posted four saves in goal and her replacement in the second half freshman Marissa Oehler recorded three. A&M’s Hernedez Haughton hit two shots with one on goal but none of the five Maroon & White shots found the back of the net.

The Lady Bulldogs will travel to Kennesaw State University for a 1 p.m. showdown with the Lady Owls at KSU stadium.
