Volleyball falls to Crimson Tide

NORMAL--The A&M Lady Bulldogs volleyball team were unsuccessful at handing a loss to the Crimson Tide and getting that elusive first win in the 2012 campaign Tuesday evening.

The Maroon & White dropped three sets losing to the Crimson Tide 25-11, 25-11, and 25-12. The 45 kills recorded by Alabama were too much to overcome as A&M recorded a total of 14 kills, led by senior Clarissa Moore who totaled nine during the match.

Defensively, A&M was able to tally 27 digs, eight block assists, and two solo blocks. Leslie Ekpe took the lead in that role securing two solo and two assisted blocks.

AAMU will be back in action on Friday, Aug. 31^st as they head to Morehead, Kentucky, to take on the Purple Aces of the University of Evansville.
