Soccer falls to UAH

Normal- Looking for their first win of 2012 the women’s soccer team travel across town to face UAH. The Lady Chargers of the University of Alabama in Huntsville defeated the Lady Bulldogs 5-0.

A&M gave up four first half goals Friday afternoon, with UAH’s Khadijah Jannah striking twice within one minute to score goals two and three.

Offensively A&M tallied four corner kicks and nine shots forcing four saves. Defensively the Lady Bulldogs hunkered down in the second half only allowing one additional goal.

The keeper duo of Linda Aboagye and Marissa Oehler collected five saves on the evening.

The Maroon & White will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 14^th when they take on Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.
