Volleyball to play in Ole Miss Invitational

NORMAL - After spending the first two weeks of the 2012 season on the road, the Alabama A&M volleyball team with make their third tournament appearance of the regular season when they participate in the Magnolia Invitational this weekend at Ole Miss University.

The Bulldogs played the first two weekends at the Belmont Invitation, hosted by Belmont University, and competed this past weekend at the Morehead Invitational at Morehead State University.

Ole Miss welcomes A&M, North Dakota and Rice University to town for the two-day event that begins on Friday, Sept. 7^th, when Rice and North Dakota face off at 11 a.m. The Lady Bulldogs take the court against Ole Miss at 1:30 p.m. and close out the first day's action at 4:30 p.m. versus North Dakota.
On Saturday, the Lady Bulldogs will face Rice University at 10:00 a.m.

All matches will be played at the Gillom Sports Center at Ole Miss University and admission is free for all contests.

Senior Clairissa Moore leads the team with a .231 hitting percentage on the season and earned All-Tournament honors this past weekend at the Morehead Invitational. There she hit .434 for the weekend with 37 kills and 19 digs.

A&M enters the weekend with an overall record of 0-8.
