Soccer ready for two at home

Normal- The Lady Bulldogs soccer team has two home games this weekend versus Southwestern Athletic Conference opponents.

First, on Friday, October 11, The Maroon & White will host eastern division foe the Lady Tigers of Jackson State University. The Lady Tigers come in to the competition off a 2-1 victory over Texas Southern. JSU currently stands at 2-8-1 overall and are 0-5 on the road this season.

The Lady Bulldogs will look to make in two in a row versus the team from Jackson, Miss, as they beat the Lady Tigers 4-0 in Jackson last season.

Friday's action will kick off at 3:00 p.m. at Lady Bulldog field.

Second on the weekend, A&M will play host to the Jaguars of Southern University on Sunday, October 13.The squad out of Baton Rouge sits at 3-6-1 on the season, and is riding high on a two-game win streak. Southern will look to avenge a 3-nil defeat handed to them by the Lady Bulldogs in front of the SU home crowd in their last meeting.

Sunday's bout is set for 1:00 p.m. at Lady Bulldog Field.
