MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Estelle Esperance scored a goal in her final appearance in the maroon and white but the Lady Bulldogs fell 8-2 at Alabama State on Thursday.

Esperance wraps up her career on the hill with 23 goals, including seven this season.

Her goal came in the 24th minute with A&M trailing 2-0. Esperance took a beautiful through ball from Sarah Bangura and put into the right corner of the goal to cut the Lady Hornets' lead to 2-1.

But ASU would score the next six goals to roll to a 8-1 lead.

Alexus Lawson, with an assist from Teryn Jolly, fired a shot into the right corner at 87:21 for the final 8-2 count.

Along with Esperance, Andrea Chacon played her final game for A&M.
