Lady Bulldogs fall to Kennesaw State

Box Score KENNESAW, Ga. -- The Alabama A&M soccer team couldn't get into a rhythm Sunday as the Lady Bulldogs fell 8-0 to Kennesaw State.

The host Lady Owls kept the pressure on A&M from the outset, firing 17 shots with Lady Bulldogs' goalkeeper Alexandra Desgagne coming up with eight saves.

KSU broke open the match with a pair of goals in a span of three minutes for a 3-0 lead at the 23:21 mark of the first half. The Lady Owls took a 5-0 lead into the half.

A&M's only shot of the game came with about 4 1/2 minutes to play in the first half.

The Lady Bulldogs, 0-4, return to action Friday at Georgia State and visit UAH for a 1 p.m. match Sunday.
