GAMEDAY: Bulldogs visit Mississippi Valley State

ITTA BENA, Miss. -- When the Bulldogs take the field today at Rice-Totten Stadium, they'll be a part of college football history.

Willie Totten, Alabama A&M's quarterback and running backs coach, is just the second person to coach an opposing team in a stadium named after him. Amos Alonzo Stagg is the only other coach so-honored.

Totten achieved this honor two years ago when the Bulldogs played here and he returns to the scene today where he became one of the most celebrated quarterbacks in college football history.

A member of six halls of fame, including the College Football Hall of Fame, Totten is in his third year with the Bulldogs.

Kickoff for today's game is 4 p.m. The game can be heard on WJAB-FM 90.9 and wjab.org with Ted Dixie on the play-by-play. Catch the pregame show with Michael Burns at 3:30.
