PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas -- Hilary Williams scored 13 points to lead a trio of Lady Bulldogs in double-figure scoring Saturday at Prairie View.
However, the Panthers defeated Alabama A&M 71-47.
Williams also had five assists and three steals in the game. The 13 points are a season high for the junior point guard.
Lauren McKee scored 11 points, including three-three-pointers, and Jameica Cobb had 10 points on 5-of-12 shooting from the field. Ebony Johnson pulled down a game-high seven rebounds.
The Lady Bulldogs built an early 6-4 lead on three-pointers from McKee and Williams.
After Prairie View took a 7-6 lead, Cobb answered with a jumper at 4:40 to put the Lady Bulldogs ahead 8-7.
However, that was the last time the Lady Bulldogs would lead in the game as Prairie View led 15-10 at the end of the first quarter; 30-17 at the half and 50-27 after three quarters.
