FLORENCE -- A trio of Bulldogs had a pair of hits but it wasn't enough Tuesday in a 12-1 loss at North Alabama.
A&M's lone run came in the sixth inning while trailing 4-0.
Peppers reached first on an error by the third baseman and, one out later, advanced to third on the pitcher's error. Marsonek singled but Peppers held at third on the play.
A walk to Carson McGregory loaded the bases and Peppers later scored on a wild pitch.
McGregory and Marsonek moved up a base but were left stranded.
In the bottom of the sixth, UNA scored seven runs to put the game away.
The Bulldogs committed seven errors in the game.
A&M will open its Southwestern Athletic Conference schedule this weekend with a three-game series at Alabama State.
