MACON, Ga. -- The Lady Bulldogs soccer team is slowly but surely improving.

They took another big step Sunday at Mercer University.

Tajah Dallemand scored the Bulldogs' first goal of the season and they held the lead for nearly 30 minutes.

However, Mercer scored three times in the final 22 minutes for a 3-1 win.

Dallemand's goal came on a rebound off her free kick at the 38:25 mark of the match.

The Bears then unleashed a relentless attack before breaking through with 22:25 left to play. They scored the eventual game-winner at 76:31 and the final goal came at 82:40.

Goalkeeper Jodi Medina had 15 saves as Mercer launched 34 shots in the game - 18 were on goal.

The Lady Bulldogs had seven shots - three on goal, with Dallemand posting four shots - two on goal. Alexus Lawson had A&M's other shot on goal.

A&M travels to South Carolina for a pair of games next weekend. The Lady Bulldogs visit South Carolina State on Friday and then play at Wofford on Sunday.
