THE MATCHUP: Austin Peay brings a seven-match winning streak into Wednesday's contest after defeating Eastern Illinois on Saturday. Ashley Slay leads the team with 234 kills (3.90/set), Ginny Gerig leads with 217 digs and Kristen Stucker leads the team with 688 assists.

Over the weekend, the Lady Bulldogs went 5-0 after completing a sweep at the Southwestern Athletic Conference West Volleyball Round Up in Houston, TX. They also secured wins against Prairie View A&M, Texas Southern, Grambling and Southern University. After their stellar performances, both Meredith Sieck and Helena Figueiredo were named SWAC Players of the Week.

Sieck grabbed the newcomer of the week and setter honors after leading the team in assists. She has the top two single-game highs in terms of assists by a SWAC player this season. Her 50 assists versus Texas Southern are the most in one game by a SWAC player since 2015, and Sieck is the first SWAC player to achieve this mark in four sets since Ashley Forman of PVAMU accomplished this in 2013.

Figueiredo was named the defensive player of the week after notching a total of 93 digs in six matches last week. After picking up eight digs versus Jacksonville State, the sophomore reeled off five straight contests with double-digit dig totals, posting 11 against Prairie View A&M, 16 against Texas Southern, 12 against Grambling, 21 against Southern, and a career-best 25 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff. She averaged 4.42 digs per set

Terra Brooks leads the Lady Bulldogs with 107 kills (2.43/set), Meredith Sieck leads the team with 360 assist and Cierra Davis leads the way with 139 digs.
