Lady Bulldogs host Chattanooga in women's soccer

HUNTSVILLE -- After an 11-day layoff, including a rainout, the Alabama A&M women's soccer team returns to action for two matches this weekend.

The Lady Bulldogs host Chattanooga on Friday with a 4 p.m. kickoff. It's the final home match until Prairie View A&M visits Sept. 29.

A&M hits the road Sunday with a game at Mercer - the first of five straight road games. Kickoff for the game is 1 p.m. Central time.

The Lady Bulldogs (0-3) have been dominant on defense this season, yielding just four goals in their three games.

However, Coach Emanuel Stephens is looking for some offense from his squad which hasn't scored in the three games.

A&M returns home on Sept. 29 when Prairie View A&M visits for a 3 p.m. match followed by Texas Southern on Oct. 1, also at Bulldog Field.
