Baseball Falls in Game Two at Alabama, 14-0

TUSCALOOSA, Ala--- The Alabama A&M baseball  (5-12, 2-4 SWAC) fell to host Alabama,14-0, in seven innings Wednesday evening at Sewell-Thomas Stadium in game two of the two-game series.

The Crimson Tide (15-3) scored one run in the third inning, seven more in the fifth and six in the sixth inning as they totaled 14 hits.

Jonathan Smith II, Wilanier Betancourt, Carl Parker, and Richard Polinsky produced the only five hits for the Bulldogs.

Betancourt went 2-for-3 on the day for AAMU.

AAMU starting pitcher Blaine Milam (0-5) was credited with the loss, giving up nine hits and three walks in five innings, while striking out three. Jalen Pearson, Ethan Morris and Jaret Britt all pitched in relief.

Next action for the Alabama A&M baseball team are non-conference road encounters with Samford University March 16-18 and Tennessee Tech on March 20. AAMU will play Mississippi Valley State in a Southwestern Athletic Conference three-game weekend series beginning next Friday.
