Men's Basketball falls at Cincinnati

CINCINNATI, Ohio — Chris Vogt recorded a double-double as Cincinnati topped Alabama A&M 85-53 Thursday night in a non-conference men's basketball game.

Cincinnati carried a 12-point lead into halftime, but the Bearcats (2-1) used a second-half offensive run to pull away after the break.

Vogt led Cincinnati with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Tre Scott finished with 16 points, while Jaevin Cumberland scored 13 — draining 3 of 7 attempts from beyond the 3-point arc. Keith Williams added 11 points for the Bearcats.

Cameron Alford led Alabama A&M (0-3) with 10 points — the third-straight game the freshman has reached double-figures in scoring. Garrett Hicks finished with nine points and Cameron Tucker added eight with four assists.

Alabama A&M travels to Miami-Ohio on Saturday.
