Game Recap: Men's Basketball | | Jordan Benson

Bulldogs Fall on Road to Clemson 87-51

CLEMSON, S.C. __ Brandon Miller's 17 points off the bench to lead Alabama A&M men's basketball team was not enough on the road at Clemson in Littlejohn Coliseum. The Bulldogs surrendered 40 points in the paint in the 87-51 loss to the Tigers.

After the first few minutes went back and forth between teams, a nearly eight minute scoring drought by the Bulldogs allowed Clemson to break the game open, as they headed into the locker room with a 35 point lead, up 54-19.

The second half was much better for the Bulldogs, as Miller's hot hand helped the team score 32 points in the second half, including five threes of his own to finish with his 17 points and three rebounds.

Miller was the only Bulldog scorer in double figures, however the freshman Cameron Alford added eight points and five rebounds and Garrett Hicks each added eight points, four rebounds and three steals of his own.
