The Bulldogs defeated the Lady Braves (5-22, 2-14 in SWAC) Monday night by scores of 25-6, 25-13, 25-13. The Lady Bulldogs were led by senior Terra Brooks, who finished with a near double-double with 11 kills and nine digs. Senior Jaelin Gant added eight kills and five digs of her own, while setter Megan Evans finished with 24 assists, six kills and four digs in the sweep.

The Lady Bulldogs finished the match with .500 attack percentage, their highest on the year to date.

Alabama A&M finished with .453 attack percentage to sweep Mississippi Valley (3-28, 0-15 in SWAC) by scores of 25-9, 25-6, and 25-12. Brooks again led the Bulldogs with her ninth double-double of the season, by recording 12 kills, 13 digs and three blocks. Junior setter Megan Evans finished with 28 assists and seven digs. She has registered over 20 assists in all but three games this season.
