Butler rallies past Alabama A&M baseball

HUNTSVILLE — Robbie McCargar drove in a run on three hits as Butler rallied past Alabama A&M 6-1 Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference baseball game.

Alabama A&M (4-15) travels to Alabama State on Friday to open a three-game Southwestern Athletic Conference series.

Alabama A&M took a 1-0 lead in the first inning when Richard Polinsky drove in Jonathan Smith II.
 
Yavier Febus made the land stand up for four innings before Butler (9-6) rallied for two runs in the top of the fifth.
 
Butler added two runs in the seventh, and two more in the eighth.
 
Kevin Napoleon got the pitching win, holding Alabama A&M hitless while giving up one run through four innings.
 
Smith and Brandon Moore each had a hit for Alabama A&M.
