Alabama A&M Women's Basketball Set To Host Georgia State For First Time; Third All-Time Meeting

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – After having been road warriors over the first several weeks of the season, Alabama A&M (0-4, 0-0 SWAC) women's basketball will finally see their home court as they host Georgia State (2-3, 0-0 SBC) for the first time in program history on Monday, November 22. Game time is slated for 5 p.m. at the Elmore Gymnasium.

The Bulldogs come in having played four teams on the road, including three that qualified for a national postseason tournament a year ago. Most recently that was at Ohio Valley Conference champion Belmont (11/18), a game that would see them fall 63-34. Meanwhile, the Panthers are coming off of a narrow 91-90 overtime loss at North Alabama (11/20).

GSU leads the all-time series 2-1 dating back to December 14, 2003 but lost the most recent meeting 67-52 on November 26, 2019. Prior to that they notched a 57-50 victory on November 27, 2010 and a 67-60 decision in that first meeting. All three have come in Atlanta, Georgia making this the first meeting at Elmore.

Fans will be able to follow all of the action with live stats and live video for the game with full coverage of all the action available on www.AAMUSports.com, the official online home of Alabama A&M Athletics, following the final horn.
