Trip to Murray State Up Next for Alabama A&M; First Meeting in Three Years

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M (0-5, 0-0 SWAC) women's basketball embarks upon a season long eight-game road trip that will take them into 2022, beginning with a trip to Murray State (4-1, 0-0 OVC) on Saturday, November 27. Tip-off is slated for 1 p.m. at the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky.

The Bulldogs enter the game following a nearly last second 62-61 loss to Georgia State (11/22) while MSU has won four of their first five games, including a 74-50 victory over Southwestern Athletic Conference member Mississippi Valley State (11/23). Their lone loss on the year was a narrow 76-70 defeat on the road at the hands of Southeastern Conference (SEC) member Missouri (11/11).

A&M trails the all-time series 8-4 dating back to January 15, 2007 when they dropped a narrow 61-59 decision at Elmore Gymnasium. That was the first of four straight losses to begin the series, and eight of the first 10, before the Bulldogs bounced back to win the last two meetings. Those were a convincing 71-54 decision in Huntsville on December 1, 2017 and a 59-53 victory in Murray in the most recent meeting a year later.

Fans will be able to follow all of the action with live stats and live video for the game, with the latter airing behind a paywall on ESPN+. Full coverage of all the action will also be available on www.AAMUSports.com, the official online home of Alabama A&M Athletics, following the final horn.
