Long Awaited Return To Elmore Up Next As Alabama A&M Hosts Mississippi Valley State

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – A combination of COVID-19 protocols and regularly scheduled road games has kept Alabama A&M (5-2, 3-1 SWAC) women's basketball away from the friendly confines of Elmore Gymnasium since January 2 but that is a stretch that ends as they host Mississippi Valley State (2-9, 0-7 SWAC) on Saturday, February 6. Tip-off is slated for 2 p.m.

The Bulldogs have gone 35 days without a home game since dropping a 64-56 decision to Jackson State and recently returned to action following a four game string of postponements. In that outing they pummeled Texas Southern on the road by a 73-50 score on February 1. They enter riding a three game win streak that began with a 65-41 victory at MVSU on January 9.

Mississippi Valley State, meanwhile, has lost seven straight since beginning league play on January 2. Most recently they dropped a narrow 56-52 decision at Grambling on February 1.

Fans will be able to follow all of the action with live stats and live video available on www.AAMUSports.com and below.
