HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M (0-0, 0-0 SWAC) women's volleyball will begin the 2021 season in New Orleans, Louisiana with three matches at the Tulane Invitational from Friday, August 27 through Saturday, August 28.
First up the Bulldogs will battle Pac-12 member California (0-0, 0-0 Pac-12) on the opening day with first serve set for 10 a.m. Later that evening they will take on host Tulane (0-0, 0-0 AAC) of the American Athletic Conference (AAC) at 7 p.m. The following day they will wrap up the invitational by facing off against Southland Conference member Northwestern State (0-0, 0-0 Southland) at 11 a.m.
The Bulldogs enter the 2021 season after opting out of the Spring 2021 campaign due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Last week A&M was picked as the top team in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) as the league released its Fall 2021 Preseason Poll.
The last time the Bulldogs took the court was 2019 and they went 20-15 overall and 15-4 against SWAC opponents, earning them a second consecutive regular season championship.
