Luckett would then drop in a layup to open the scoring and stretch to an 11-point advantage before a three by Harris cut it to eight just 32 seconds into the period. From there they would take a 43-21 advantage into the half minutes later.
It would not get any better in the third as JSU extended their lead to 32 points, the last at 64-32 by the 2:39 mark. The Bulldogs would cut it to 67-38 by the end of the frame but would get no closer than 25 the rest of the way as the Tigers closed out the 79-52 decision.
