Alabama A&M Women's Basketball Looks To Shore Up Postseason Positioning With Trip To Florida A&M

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M (11-13, 9-5 SWAC) women's basketball will wrap up their last regular season road trip as they head to Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) newcomer Florida A&M (3-21, 4-10 SWAC) on Monday, February 21. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m. (CST).

A&M comes in riding a three-game win streak as part of seven wins in their last nine. Most recently that stretch has seen them defeat Mississippi Valley State (2/12) by a 53-47 score, Arkansas-Pine Bluff (2/14) 56-50 and Bethune-Cookman (2/19) 68-54. FAMU comes in having dropped seven of their last eight, including a 73-56 decision to Alabama State.

It is a brief all-time series history when it comes to the Bulldogs and Rattlers getting together as its only happened twice in available records that date back to 2006-07. The first was a 77-53 victory on December 20, 2019 in Tallahassee, Florida with the other coming on January 29, 2021. In that one AAMU notched a 68-57 win in the first of what will be many league meetings.

Fans will be able to follow all of the action with live stats and live video with full postgame coverage of all the action available on www.AAMUSports.com, the official online home of Alabama A&M Athletics, following the final horn.
