Alabama A&M Cheerleading To Compete at NCA Collegiate Cheer National Championships In April

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M cheerleading will compete on the big stage as they head to Daytona Beach, Florida for the NCA Collegiate Cheer National Championship from April 6-10.
 
The program will compete against top teams from across the country, all vying for the Golden Megaphone trophy signifying the top cheer squad in the nation. A once-in-a-lifetime experience, the Bulldogs will perform ocean side on the Bandshell in front of hundreds of fans.
 
This year, A&M will showcase their athleticism and talent in the Intermediate All-Girl Division as they pursue a national championship.

Founded in 1948 by Lawrence "Herkie" Herkimer, NCA was the first cheerleading company and credited with many other "firsts" – the first cheerleading camp, spirit stick, pom pom, cheerleading uniform company, All-Star National Championship and more. Today, NCA trains cheerleading teams across the country at hundreds of summer camps and hosts competitions for teams to demonstrate their athleticism.
