Alabama A&M Heads To Buccaneer Track & Field Invitational Hosted by ETSU

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Alabama A&M men's and women's indoor track & field returns to action as they head to Johnson City, Tennessee for the Buccaneer Track & Field Invitational on Friday, February 4.
 
Hosted by East Tennessee State, the meet will feature fellow Division I programs Appalachian State, Gardner-Webb, Tennessee Tech and UNC Asheville with Division II members King, Mars Hill, Milligan, Tennessee Wesleyan, Tusculum, Carson-Newman, Lees-McRae, Lincoln Memorial and Emory & Henry completing the field.
 
The Bulldogs will send a total of 22 athletes to compete in 11 events, with the women sending 12 and the men 10. The women will see action in six events and the men four with individuals from both teams competing in the 60-, 200- and 400-meters and weight throw. The women will also compete in the distance medley relay and the men in the 60-meter hurdles.
 
A&M will open action at 10:55 a.m. in the 60-meter hurdles with the final event they are scheduled for coming at 4:35 p.m. with the 200-meter preliminaries.
