Tipoff is slated for 8:30 p.m. at the Bartow Arena in Birmingham, Alabama.
The winner of this game will take on the winner of the quarterfinal match up between No.1 seed Alcorn State and No. 8 seed Prairie View A&M at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, March 11.
The Bulldogs are coming off a narrow 50-49 defeat at the hands of Southern on Saturday, March 5 while the Rattlers defeated Bethune-Cookman 84-73 on the same day.
AAMU last met FAMU on Monday, February 21 and won 71-63 in Tallahassee, Florida. Overall, the series is tied 1-1 dating back to January 21, 2022.
