TALLAHASSEE, Fla. __Â Alabama A&M baseball dropped their second straight game of the weekend series at Florida A&M at Moore-Kittles Field on Saturday, falling 13-3, after the Rattlers finished the game with eight unanswered runs.

The Bulldogs got on the board early in the first, as
Mekhi Lloyd drew a walk to open the game, and later scored on a wild pitch.

The Rattlers took control however in the bottom of the inning, earning three hits in the frame, including an RBI double to drive in the first two runs, followed by a three-run bomb for the 5-1 lead.

Alabama A&M cut into the lead on their next at-bat, as
Jalen Parker doubled to start the second, and scored on an RBI single from
Chevalier Dorris. Lloyd brought Dorris home on the next plate appearance with a single to center.

From there it was all Florida A&M, as they added a trio of runs in the third, another two in the fifth and three more in the seventh for the 13-3 final. The Rattlers racked up 13 hits in the win and forced three errors.

The Bulldogs etched out six hits on the day, led again by
Tommy Easley and Dorris with two hits each, while Lloyd and Parker both registered one.
Â
Evan Crenshaw picked up the loss on the mound, working 2.1 innings and allowing eight runs on seven hits and striking out two.
Jason Marono came in out of the bullpen for the remaining 4.1 innings and allowed five runs on six hits, while striking out five.

The two programs will conclude the three-game series on Sunday afternoon, with first pitch set for 1 p.m.
