HUNTSVILLE, Ala. __ The Alabama A&M men's tennis team fought a tough doubles battle before falling to Troy, 6-1, at home on Monday afternoon in non-conference action.
To begin the match, each doubles court played close games.
Divesh Gahlot and
German Ruiz Crespo fell 6-3 on No. 3. at the start, while court two finished next as the pairing of Yin Chih Lan and
Chetanna Amadike evened the score with a 6-3 win.
The Trojans' earned the point on the final battle on court one, as
Vence N'Tcha and
Arnav Pathange dropped a 6-4 bout.
Troy then took all six singles points, as N'Tcha and Pathange were the only Bulldogs to push their opponents to three sets.
