Huntsville, Ala. | On Tuesday Alabama A&M had three players named to the preseason Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) teams announced at the conference football media day. The Conference also released the Preseason coaches' poll. The Bulldogs had 73 points which placed them 4
th in the east.

Two Bulldogs were on the all-first team offense with running back
Donovan Eaglin and Offensive Lineman
Jonathan Williams. These two were a huge part of getting the A&M rushing attack going for 2,075 yards which was headlined by Eaglin who ran for 897 yards, averaged five yards a carry, and 80 yards per game.

The third Bulldog was a Defensive lineman
Zareon Hayes who got selected to All Swac's first defensive team. In his 2022 campaign, he played ten games, had 53 tackles, and 16.5 tackles for lost. While also having 3.5 sacks for the year as well. The Redshirt senior looks to headline the D-line in the upcoming 2023 season.
