Huntsville, AL. | The Alabama A&M Women's Soccer team took on the Chicago State Cougars Sunday Morning at the Bulldog Soccer Field as AAMU would fall 3-2 to the Cougars.
Chicago State (3-6) outshot the Bulldogs 10-7 in the opening half and would strike first in the 5th minute as Cougars Michaela Williamson made a goal past AAMU Freshman goalkeeper
Yesenia Aiken to take a 1-0 lead.
Sophomore Forward
Chelsie Charles would put A&M on the board in the 34
th minute, tying the game. Five minutes later, Samatha Jablonski would give Chicago State a 2-1 advantage entering the half with a goal in the 39
th minute. Charles would get a 2
nd goal for the game with an assist from Junior Midfielder
Jasmine Perez-Acosta to tie it 2-2.
However, the Cougars sealed the victory in the 57
th minute with a goal from Chiara Canini as Chicago State extended the advantage to 3-2.
