Experienced
Jeremy Ingram (6-0-G-1991, played in 2011-12, plays pro in Germany) could not help Braunschweig in their game last Sunday. Despite his very good performance his team was defeated 95-83 at home by the much lower-ranked Westerstede (#8) in the North-1 group. Ingram was the top scorer with 22 points in 27 minutes. Ingram has individually had a very good season with high stats. He averages 24.3 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 2.0 apg and 2.5 spg.
Obie Trotter (6-4-PG-1984, played in 2002-06, plays in Iceland) was not able to help Hottur (7-7) in their last game. Despite his good performance Hottur was edged 88-85 on their home court in Egilsstadir by the second-ranked Njardvik. Trotter was the second-best scorer with 13 points. He also added 3 passes. Trotter has relatively good stats this year 11.8 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.9 apg and 1.9 spg in 14 games he played so far. He is a naturalized Hungarian.
Quinterian McConico (6-8-C/F-1995, played in 2014-14, plays pro in Portugal) was not able to secure a victory for Lusitania (1-11) in their game against Galomar (4-9) in the Portuguese Liga Betclic. He scored 6 points and added 3 passes. It was his first game for Lusitania this season. The bottom-ranked Lusitania was crushed 93-70 on their home court in Angra by the higher-ranked (#10) Galomar. It was Lusitania's third consecutive loss in a row.
Xavier Brewer (6-9-F/C-1986, played in 2022-23, plays in Azerbaijan) managed to help Xirdalan BK Baku to a win against closely-ranked Sumqayit (3-8) 100-90 in the Azerbaijani ABL in Friday night's game. Brewer scored only two points and grabbed four rebounds in 10 minutes. Xirdalan BK Baku (6-5) is placed fifth in the ABL. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Brewer's first season with the team. This year Brewer has very high stats. He averages 15.8 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 1.5 apg and 1.6 spg. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.
Desmond Jackson (6-1'-G-1992, played in 2006-06, currently in Japan) led Yamaguch Pats Five to a surprising victory over the fifth-ranked Gambarous (20-10) 88-83 in the Japanese B3 League last Sunday. He was MVP of the game. Jackson scored 17 points, had six rebounds and two blocks. Yamaguch Pats Five (11-19) is placed 13th in the B3 League. It was his team's first victory after four consecutive losses. Jackson has relatively good stats this year 11.3 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 1.1 apg and 2.2 bpg in 28 games.
