HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University women's basketball team returns to action on Monday night as the Bulldogs look to end their four-game losing streak with a trip to Mississippi Valley State. Tip-off for the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) game against the Devilettes is set for 5:30 p.m. from the R.W Harrison HPER Complex.
Alabama A&M (5-8 overall, 0-1 SWAC) fell to Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday 75-67. Meanwhile, a Mississippi Valley State (1-13, 0-1) comeback was not enough in a 57-54 loss to Alabama State on Saturday.

Amiah Simmons and Amiah Free combined for 46 points to lead Alabama A&M with a 67-50 win over MVSU.
Simmons posted a double-double of 25 points and 18 rebounds, Free recorded 21 points, including going 7-of-10 from the floor and 6-of-8 from the perimeter.
 Kerrigan Johnson paced MVSU with 11 points and four rebounds, while Elisa Saffold added 10 points with two boards.Â

Alabama A&M had four players reach double figures but could not rally to defeat Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 75-67;
Kaylah Turner paced the Bulldogs with 16 points, eight assists, three rebounds and two steals. Alisha Wilson registered 14 points, six boards, four steals and two assists, while Amiah Simmons tallied 11 points, five steals, four assists and three rebounds. Kaylin Nash chipped in 11 points, six rebounds and one assist.
AAMU shot 42 percent from the field and grabbed 39 rebounds. The Bulldogs got 26 points in the paint and 17 bench points in the loss.

Sh'Diamond McKnight led MVSU with 18 points and four steals, but the Devilettes fell at home to Alabama State, 57-54.
