THE HILL | The Alabama A&M Volleyball team (3-12, 1-3 SWAC) is set to face the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Mocs (8-8, 0-3 SoCon) for a mid-season non-conference clash. The first serve is set for 5 pm (C.T.) and can be watched on ESPN+. Live stats can be found here.
The match will be the second time the Bulldogs have met this season, the first being at AAMU's Betty K. Austin Invitational, where UTC claimed the match 3-0.
The Bulldogs are returning from their Florida conference swing, where they faced the Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman and Rattlers of Florida A&M. AAMU went 0-2 on the weekend. Senior Fatima Ramirez paced the Bulldogs over the weekend, recording 16 terminations, 18 digs, two assists and one and a half blocks.
The Mocs return to Chattanooga after falling to Mercer on the road in a five-set battle. The match saw a balanced offense, with three Mocs killing at least 12 balls. Chard'e Vanzandt, who led the team in points, also notched five blocks. In addition to her 13 kills, Breanah Rives also led the team defensively with 16 digs.
